The retarded tech at my work won’t smog my GTO. So what if the mufflers are off? Those aren’t emissions related. Also, on newer cars there is no sniffer, just plug into the OBDII port and reads outputs. Yes that is right, we only have 1 certified smog tech and my dealership....

In Georgia you have to have a full OEM style exhaust system to be tested via the OBD port. That said there are many places that don’t care but that’s the law.

Don’t you have to have a CARB certified exhaust? Seems like altering a certified exhaust would serve to decertify it. Not needing sniffer is irrelevant if you fail a visual inspection.

But yeah, it’s the “retarded” tech’s fault. Maybe he’s a “homo” too.

I think the person doing the smog on your car needs to read up on the regulations a bit. If you can show them the part in the Code of California regulations than maybe you can get it smoothed.
